We approached Perrett Associations because having heard about the Workforce development schemesupport we needed to have an advisor to talk us through the process.The help and support we received given was excellent. Hazel talked us through the whole process from beginning to end and then supported us when collating our needs, including spending time with each Manager to identify what they needed to develop themselves and their team.The result – we were successful in our application and were awarded funding.One thing I liked about the approach of Hazel is she listened intently to what we all had to say and identified what we needed. She was comfortable talking with all levels of the organisation from Site Director to first line supervisors and pitched the information needed just right for each individual. Her high level of knowledge and expertise were evident from the beginning.As an organisation we benefited greatly. Hazel kept us focused, gave practical help on how to compile the information even helping us to complete the form. What had originally seemed like a daunting task became a seamless exercise and we can only thank Perrett Associates for that. As an SME the funding will help us to develop our staff and in so doing grow the organisation.I hope the above helps but if you need me to enlarge at all please let me know. All of the information is genuine and we really couldn’t have done it without you! On the downside, I am still trying to resolve issues our side. If it is not the cost implications it is the release of key individuals to attend courses but at the end of the day, if we end up not taking advantage of the funding, we will have lost a golden opportunity to develop our staff.

As a company we have used Perrett Associates for a number of years. They have provided us with Employee Handbook Training, Management and Supervisory Development, Selection and Recruitment Activities and Evaluation Reports. We have always received not only excellent service, but they go over and above what is expected, particularly in the area of ILM training by ensuring that our employees fully grasp the subject area and giving them additional support over and above what is required. We have had some great results in developing our employees, some of whom have worked their way through the organisation and are now Managers. They are purely dedicated to delivering excellent valued added service - and if they can't do it they will tell you!

I approached Perrett Associates because we initially became familiar with the organization when the Welsh Government commissioned Leadership and Management Training for Substance Misuse Services in Wales in 2008, as a needs analysis found that managers did not have the required qualifications or training to lead and manage the staff and organizations in which they were based.Perrett Associates helped me by guiding and supporting me towards achieving my ILM 5 Diploma, from the initial ILM 5 Award through to achieving the Diploma. This support and guidance has been invaluable and has made a significant contribution to my own academic achievements and enhancing my knowledge and skills as a manager.
The result was a great sense of achievement and an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the leadership role and the systems and processes required to facilitate effective and efficient management of staff and the organization. We have implemented a range of ideas generated by the training, that have improved communication, improved consistency of service delivery, guided continuous professional development, improved time management and, improved relationships within and between teams. These improvements have had a direct impact on enhancing the recovery journey of our service users.
One thing I liked about their approach was they took the time to learn about the substance misuse sector, which influenced their teaching style and facilitated the use of relevant examples throughout the training. As an organization we found the experience extremely beneficial and has increased confidence in the leadership role throughout the organization, improving relationships between staff, managers and senior managers. These gains have improved morale and contributed significantly to a happier workforce.

Hazel Perrett of Perrett Associates initially approached Flintec in relation to developing government funding opportunities for Engineering training and development.After a brief phone conversation and a short follow up meeting Perrett Associates helped develop the training proposals, application and also identify specialist training providers.The results in the first 6 months of being introduced to Perrett associates was extremely impressive with most of the UK R&D Team participating in bespoke and funded training activities.Allowing Flintec to increase already allocated training budget by 100% in the same Financial year.
As an organisation we found the experience very beneficial for both the company and the employee’s expanding and accelerating both training initiatives and improving staff performance, contribution and most of all motivation.

Perrett Associates helped me by providing a fully bespoke programme, with clear aims and outcomes specifically for my organisation. The result was an individualised workshop that effectively enhanced my staff's learning and clearly met the objectives. I approached Perrett Associates because we had a new Management team who needed assistance in teamwork and also adding to and improving their Management skills.Perrett Associates helped me by helping all of our team achieve an ILM qualification.The result was that our Managers all worked well as a new team and were all successful in passing the qualification.One thing I liked about their approach was Hazel’s personal skills and people skills meant that every member of the team was supported and motivated individually. All communication was carried out in a professional friendly manner.As an organisation we found the experience really good for a new team. Several of the team had doubts about their learning and development skills and these were overcome leading to increased confidence and performance at work.
